We the undersigned parents of Bank Street School for Children, want to express our concern over the protracted negotiations with the teacher's union over the current contract. We know that they have been working without a contract this year, and while none of us are privy to the details of the negotiations, its obvious in many ways that morale among the teachers is suffering.
We are asking for a resolution of this process immediately, as we feel uncomfortable knowing that we may lose many of the school's greatest assets next year.
We are willing do whatever we can to help raise funds to mitigate whatever difference there is on the two sides.
We love the school, we support the school, but most of all, we cherish the teachers and we are voicing our support in unison.
