In his words:"Lincoln School brothers, sisters, and parents-
If you do not know by now we have had two very important members of Lincoln pushed out of the school- Mrs Susan Burns and Bhaju Ram Shrestha. This is not how we treat family and this is definitely not how you treat people who helped raise us into the women, men, friends, family, and parents we are. It is not the type of decision you make to someone who help create the name of the school which probably made these decision makers choose to work there in the first place. In general let’s remember the universities and colleges the 'old' system got us into. If there is a next step or a higher level please help me see it. Needless to say I will be writing the school and I encourage you to do so for whatever reason whether for them above or your own. Let’s help future Lincolities get the same experience we had."
My Sister and I studied in Lincoln and remember Susan Burns and Bhaju Ram as a part of our upbringing, learning and most importantly a part of the Lincoln School experience. My sister (in the picture with Dana Moyal and Susan Burns recently) is 5 years older than me and was one of the early graduating classes of the school. Susan Burns and Bhaju Ram dai were at Lincoln School even before that time!! Many of us deem them to be an integral part of the Lincoln School experience and hence would like the current director Mr. Harold Fleetham and all stakeholders, decision makers and administration of Lincoln School to reconsider letting go of some of Lincoln's best assets. This news has upset many of us ex-Lincoln students, and we urge you to reconsider.
