2012 ended with a bitter note, the brutal act which shook the entire nation, put a question mark on the law and order and the safety of our country’s women.
We at NDIM,along with you hereby pledge our ‘ Yogdaan’ on the platform of ‘Spardha- Annual Inter- college Sports Meet’ 2013, towards the safety and dignity of our womenfolk.
We pledge that we, the responsible youth of India are committed towards team-work, endurance and equal opportunity to all.
We pledge that if we see anyone misbehaving with women, we will stand up against it; not let it happen, and not be mere mute spectators.
We stand united against the culprits indulging in any crime against women and strongly believe that punishment should be exemplary, deterrent and in sync with the crime committed and not the age.
We demand and support that justice be brought to “Nirbhaya” and all other similar cases. We will ensure that such crimes do not take place in the future.
