The UK plans to allow more infants and toddlers in childcare facilities, which some believe is a very bad idea.
Complaining that Britain's standards are below that of its closest neighbors, Education Minister Liz Truss says the new plan will raise the standard of childcare by increasing caregiver pay.
But critics say the plan will water down the quality of childcare, make it harder for some families to afford and won't fix anything. Furthermore, UK's shadow education secretary believes the increases in children per worker - from four to six two-year-olds and from three to four infants - will threaten child safety as well.
Others agree with the secretary and say it's the government that caused childcare standards to fall in the first place by cutting tax credits and child benefits and shutting down hundreds of Sure Start centres.
It doesn't make sense for the government to compound those problems now with deregulation. Tell Britain not to relax its childcare standards.
