This petition is in regards to the new schedule and how it has been negatively affecting the students of Hugo A. Owens in seventh grade. This change has caused much disarray in the learning environment. For example, the early lunch is causing students to become distracted by hunger in later bells. School begins between 8:20 to 8:45. Students now eat lunch at _____ so that means that they eat only ____ from when they ate breakfast. In addition, the elongated period of time that it takes to travel down the hallways to get back to our classes from lunch, rather than going to physical education and electives while we are closer to the P.E and elective hallways. This disorderly transition has also caused student to lose learning tools in the midst of confusion.
