Increase security measures in Hillsboroigh County Schools

   We ask for an increase in security measures in all Hlsborough County schools to ensure the safety of our children in an academic setting and prevent violent acts against student and faculty. We call for any means at the Board's disposal such as armed police, and scrutiny of access to school buildings. Preventative measures should be taken to better monitor anyone entering a school facility to stop the smuggling of any weapon into any academic setting.
    Let's ensure that the tragedy in Newton Connecticut and those before like the incident at Columbine are never repeated. Let us not ignore any warning signals that may foreshadow a violent act and let us also not let budget get in the way of our children's safety.
