Support Funding Of Alternative or Home Schooling Education

The Minister of Education and the Premier have waged a war with The Elementary Teachers Federation Of Ontario and our children are the victims!

This petition is aimed at the Provincial Government Of Ontario to demand a change in our publicly funded education system that would allow the amount allocated to each child's education to be paid out to parents of the children who choose to home school or place them in alternative education.

The Provincial Government is looking for a way to save on costs associated with education and we all know that the greatest cost is salaries and benefits. The school boards are not publicly accountable and neither are their sub-contracted services such as transportation etc. As the only real advocates for our children we are being forced to support an education system that is failing our children!

It is well known that the school boards and the Ministry Of Education have failed to protect our children from bullying, abuse, assault, etc.

This proposal would provide parents with a choice to provide a for a better education and safety for their children while offering a savings alternative to the government of ontario. The Federal Government should also offer an increased child tax credit for the parent staying home to educate their children while saving the overhead of school associated costs.
