Parents are holding their children back in school now more then ever. 5th and even 8th graders are being held back to gain the advantage over other kids in their sport. Parents are waiting to start their kids in kindergarten so they can be older when they start to play sports. I want us to change this, Youth sports should go by AGE not grade level. Their are always exceptions to the rule but their needs to be a rule that we enforce in our schools and youth sports.. Sandbagging is intentionally placing oneself in a weaker position to gain an unfair advantage over his/her opponents or task. We need to teach our youth that hard work is the key to success not loop holes and cheating.
