Mandatory metal detectors and key card systems in schools

Sign this petition for mandatory metal detectors in school. Protect our kids!! At least 15 mass shooting in the 2012 year. We have to keep our young ones safe and the most recent tragedy in CT has all parents physically shaken. 
  We send our kids to school everyday to learn and become educated. We expect them to be safe at school. Trusted in the hands of school officials 5 days a week. Sadly the world is so these days that we cannot feel safe with our kids at school and teachers can not feel safe providing safe education to our kids.
  Lets make mandatory metal detectors in every school, beginning with elementary schools. Mandatory card or key pad  on each side/additional door and put a lock it at all times policy in place. Security guards at the door. Our banks our protected with security and our airports are secured with metal detectors. Our streets are protected by officers and our country is protected by our military. Who is there to help our kids.
