To whom it may concern,
" Applicants to a graduate degree program at NDU,AUB,LAU who do not have a BBA or its equivalent,by law, will be required to take up to four preparatory courses. These courses provide a management base upon which students can build the courses required for a graduate degree" e.g. Fundamaentals in Accounting,Management,Marketing,Finance and Economics. Again i emphasize the underlying facts and importance that the prior courses are provided to students who do not have a BBA degree...
To my surprize when i have received my results from Sagesse university i have been rewarded with remedials in management, finance, economics and marketing.Taking into consideration that my undergraduate grades in Strategic Management which is a senior course and not a preparatory one was "B+" and i was at the top of my class. In addition i had a "B" grade in finance, economics and marketing, still you have provided me with these remedial courses.
In addition i have a work experience more than 9 years in administrative and senior management positions holding at one time the position of a senior consultant and manager in(21st Century Real Estate) which is one of the largest real estate companies in the world.
The only reason i am not following my MBA at NDU is because they do not have a concentration in Accounting. And the fact that i didn't join AUB is because of its remote location and will not be capable of making the time to follow the programme at AUB.
If i was to take an accounting course for the reason to refresh my memory with some formulas, balace sheets, cash flow statements and other related numerical figures i would not be writing this letter now...
I require a logical explanation to the current dialemma. If i am not convinced with practical, logical reasons and common sense, i will leave the programme. Moreover i ask for a one-on-one meeting with the dean.
Waiting for your reply at the earliest.
