6 seasons after Negri left Foothill the combined varsity record stands at 23-40 with NO playoff wins! The program is in constant disarray and hasn't had a constant for a few years now with the exception of a few assistant coaches. One of those coaches is Steve Burton, a favorite among players, who has not only lived in the Foothill area for many years.. He played sports AT Foothill. He has been an assistant football coach at Foothill for the last 6 years, and has also coached the softball team and has been a favorite of parents and students alike during his tenure at Foothill! After putting in more than his fair share of time and effort into the program, it seems like its about time Steve gets his shot!
