Video Production students in periods 1, 2, and 4 are fed up with the mistreatment we receive from Mr. Andrighetto, Monache High School student teacher. Several of us students have tried to voice our concerns but this undeserved treatment has only continued. We feel students should not be forced to experience the type of negativity this student teacher brings to our program. The following are examples many of us share in our experiences as students under Mr. Andrighetto:
- Consistent and frequent use of inappropriate language such as "Damn", "Shit", and "Bullshit".
- Belittling by using negative name calling or labeling such as "Lazy", "Worthless", "Posers", and "No Good".
- Unfair grading system and unrealistic expectations that do not resemble that which was previously set forth by Mr. Snyder.
- Verbally reacts to students in anger using a loud and intimidating tone.
- Demonstrates very little patience with students and has a tendency to react in anger quickly by raising his voice or sending students out of his classroom as often as several times in one period.
- Unwelcoming toward students whom have questions or the need for guidance.
- Fosters a chaotic, tense environment that is not supportive of a positive learning experience.
