The parents of elementary students in the Montgomery County public schools are concerned about Curriculum 2.0, particularly as it relates to math instruction. The County should act immediately to reform the curriculum so that all children in Montgomery County benefit from being in a classroom where 100% of the instruction during the math period focuses on that child's achievement level. Montgomery County has an obligation to meet the educational needs of its students. Montgomery County should carefully consider feedback from the communities the school system serves and reinstitute a system in which every child has the undivided attention of a math teacher.
