The county council are withdrawing SEN transport from children if they live within 3 miles (2miles for primary age children). Our children will have to walk or use public transport or lose all independance and be taken to school by parents in a car. Most of our children will not be able to walk so far physically and it would not be safe to do it alone. Public transport would stress them out as it's so 'busy' on a bus with passengers coming and going and the noises associated with busy buses.
Our children are being picked on just to save money and put under risk as they are so vulnerable when moving around in public.
