The County council are cutting back on SEN transport. Soon our children have to live further than 3 miles from school (2 miles for primary age pupils) to be able to use the transport. Otherwise it's public transport, walking or a lack of independance and parents have to take them. Most of the pupils would be stressed trying to walk so far and would not be safe doing it alone and public transport would be to 'busy' for them with so much going on around them.
