Stop allowing our teens to make the decision to quit school: Change the out dated law nation wide.

This is an issue effect our nation and also takes away parents rights to raise these teens n the manner they choose. At this time a sixteen year old has the rite to decide if an education is important to them. The best part is that they can quit school and lay around while the parent has to work to support them until they are eighteen! Also if the child gets into any legal trouble the parent is still held responsible but they have no way of mandating the child to finish high school! No more! Let's finally abolish this, I do know there are currently changes being made slowly let us show nation wide support of this change to abolish this law.

 There is no need in this day and age for our teens to have this rite. My son did this and now lives with regret. This was a valid, necessary law when children helped on the family farms. Now this is no longer needed. We also have a educational system that includes all children no matter the need, disability to participate in obtaining a public education. Time to change and help keep our kids in school until they reach eighteen years of age.
