As some of you are aware, sports in schools is a fundamental activity that helps create team work, healthy living, healthy competition, and respect to others. A lot of schools have numerous activities for children to participate in. However, Liberty County school systems only offers limited sports and extra carriculum activities for student to participate.
My daughter, Candice Blitch, a Midway Middle School 6th grader this year (2012-2013), has taken the initiative to start a petition and request for the school and board to allow Midway Middle School to form a girl's softball team beginning years 2013-2014 for 7th and 8th graders to participate. Upon research, Please help our young Liberty County students work their way to as many signatures as possible to take to the school officials/school board with their petition.
