Elementary schools are smaller and safer , a better environment in which to develop close trusting relationships , protect and nurture students reducing the possibility of high risk behaviours , to allow our children to be role models and leaders , focus the development of the child as a whole. Elementary school can meet the needs of our adolecent youth. 11 , 12 and 13 year olds are not ready for high school , i believe its forcing them to grow up to fast. The best interest of my 11 year old daughter who will be affected this coming september is to remain in an elementary school.
