Why should my child have to wait?

There is a deadline on Sept 27 of every year that will stop chldren from going to school if they are not five by that date. I have 2 children who are going to be or have already een subject to this. I strongly believe that if your child turns 5 that year that they should be allowed to start school and not have to wait another year to go. This also puts them with children that are younger them and sets them back a little. My 7 year old had to wait and when we did go in to register her for Kindegarten she scored well above the rest.
