Please help protect Lake Nona from the development of more apartments at 9306 Narcoossee Road Orlando Florida behind the CVS on Narcoossee Road and Dowden Road and for opposing the Orlando Municipal Planning Board's Decision for Case #'s GMP2012-00010 and ZON2012-00010 for changing the city's growth plan and zoning to support the development of the 9306 apartment complex.
Many Lake Nona residents value our neighborhoods and we care about our quality of life for ourselves and our families. We are concerned about being adversely affected by
(1.) increased crime, police officers admit that there is higher risk of crime due to apartment complexes
(2.) additional burden on the already over crowded elementary and middle schools and school rezoning
(3.) increased transient population, the ease of moving in and out, short lease terms and long term changes in the quality of apartments supports transient populations
(4.) decreased property values, realtors admit that aparment complexes make neighborhoods less desireable such as Metro West where there are many apartment complexes
The 9306 apartment complex would continue to increase high density housing around Lake Nona
(1.) 0.2 miles across the road from the 420 unit Camden La Vina Apartments that are behind Tijuana Flats,
(2.) 0.8 miles from the 165 unit Northlake Park Apartments on Northlake Parkway,
(3.) 1 mile from the 348 unit Reserve at Beachline Apartments at the corner of 528 and Narcoossee and
(4.) 2 miles from the 394 unit Legends of Lake Nona Apartments behind Publix
