The Dept. of Education plans to change the way year 11 and 12 are delivered to our small but strong communities.
If these changes were to proceed as currently proposed, it would result in a drastic reduction in subject choice for our students. It would also result in some very unacceptable combinations of subjects which would make it extremely difficult for our students to acehieve well.
With less subject choice and unacceptable combinations of subject choice, many students will be forced to travel to high schools in Inverell and this would likely, eventually lead to the end of our very succesful senior program.
This is an extremely important issue for our community.
