There is a long-standing tradition at Woodrow Wilson High School, in that every year at homecoming week, students are allowed to dress up each day, according to a daily theme. Each year, Woodrow students look forward to homecoming week, and with this year, since we can't dress up as usual, students will not be as excited and can possibly put a damper on food, ticket, mum, and t-shirt sales for the Homecoming Parade, Football Game, and even the Dance, which is a very important fundraiser to the Woodrow program. In addition, because we are not allowed to wear costumes, students may be less inclined to come to school, and may even result in protests, which can lead to multiple referrals, and even arrests, not to mention the toll it will take in class attendance. All in all, homecoming week is an article of tradition, which, if altered, may have a negative effect on Woodrow Wilson itself.
