When today's Seniors were underclassmen, they asked if they could be in the council. They were told no. The 2012-2013 year comes along, and Upward Bound decides to let underclassmen be in the council,without letting students know, until the day of elections. These underclassmen have the privelage of going to Disneyland for a day, an event that was originally for the seniors. This is not fair to the underclassmen, or the seniors. So if you believe that SENIORS should be in the council, feel free to put your name on this petition. Everyone should have a chance to run for council WHILE THEY ARE SENIORS, NOT UNDERCLASSMEN. It would be completely fair to everyone in the program if it were done like this. Either this, or we have a re-election in which Upward Bound notifies all its underclassmen that they are allowed to run for a council position. That way, it is completely fair to everyone in the program, including the underclassmen.
