To the Dean of Arts, Dr. Richard Sigurdson. We are petitioning your decision to suspend Sean Gott from the 2012 Fall Semester for academic misconduct. We ask that you reconsider an alternative punishment. Sean Gott has given his body, mind and soul to the University of Calgary for the past five years. He has been a five year leader and ambassador for the University of Calgary. He volunteers at various fundraisers and non-profit organizations on campus like the annual Sundanese football camp for kids. Sean Gott brings out the best in people around him and is a selfless person who made a very unfortunate mistake. Losing him is a significant blow to the success of our team and the leadership on the field, in the weight room and in the study hall. We strongly urge you to reconsider his suspension as it punishes all of his teammates.
