On July 9, 2012 Carol Davis was assaulted while trying to obtain educational records by a Killeen ISD administrator who has engaged in this type of behavior multiple times before. Killeen Police Department refused to address the complaint and stated while she was being taken away by ambulance that the case would be turned over to Killeen ISD Police.
Carol Davis informed John Dye, Safety Coordinator that she wanted to press charges on the individuals involved. He stated that she would be contacted by an officer. That never happened. The parent had a hearing scheduled for August 1, 2012 against the district in a special education matter. On the morning of the hearing Killeen ISD police orricers arrived at her home to arrest her and prevent her from attending the hearing without a warrant or any paperwork.
Carol informed them that she would be at the district sponsored hearing but was delayed by officers which would have caused a default of her case. Killeen ISD would not present the staff for witnesses.
Physical assaults, sexual misconduct, unlawful detentions and arrests are common against minority children and parents in Killeen ISD. Parents who advocate for their children are labeled and targeted for discrimination and harassment.
Please support Carol and demand justice by the arrest of all parties as Carol will be arrested. Demand an independent investigation.
