Stop The Uniform Madness

From this September it is the intention to introduce blazers, shirts and ties to the school uniforms for Knights Enham School, Endeavour and Roman Way Schools in Andover Hampshire.
Not only is this impractical it is unnecessary. Aside from the obvious issue of cost, these children are still young children, finding their feet in the world of education, why do they have to be so institutionalised at such a young age? This could threaten the safe happy environment they have come to associate school days with to a feeling of being institutionalised. Another negative would be the upkeep of these uniforms, how many of us have the time to ensure these shirts are ironed and pressed every day of the week? The ties will be used for all manner of fun they weren't intended for and blazers could be easily mislaid and costly to replace.
