Much like the Roman Emperor Hadrian forcibly changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina and Judea to Syria Palestina, the university is planning to discard our venerable name in favor of something more hip and modern. Just as the Jews revolted to protect their city, we shall revolt, but peacibly by petition.
We shall petition to save our name,
We shall petition to save our people,
We shall petition to save our culture,
But most importantly, we shall petition to save our identity.
We are CCI, we have always been CCI, and we will forever remain CCI.
